Audrey Steele

Alot of people might be less-than-impressed with my “life stats" but I have no desire to impress anyone, so I'll start there. I am a 45-year-old wife, mother, and high school math teacher. I don't have much time to myself, patience with the status quo, or name brand anything. I do, however, have an incredibly family, enough determination to dig a ditch to China if need be, and a truck load of life experience I never wanted but got anyway. Due to my daughter’s leukemia diagnosis, a nightmarish divorce, a mastectomy, and a long, woeful list of other life challenges, my heart was side-tracked in the desert for a time. But I am far from “over”, so to speak. God, in His great mercy and love, has healed me and is healing me now. I have a passion for Christ and the written word, as well as teaching. Writing is, and always has been, my passion, my fall-back, and my cheap therapy. As my children grow up and begin find their own paths, I begin my own search for divine purpose and identity. What does God want to do with however many years I have left? What is my role in His story He is telling...His plan for global redemption? That's the question I am pondering these days.
