This is my blog to express views and prompt discussion on how Cloud computing will continue to accelerate the pace of change in people’s lives through the technology enabled by it. I am small technology business owner that isn't very technical, but I've been around the block for 31 years in technology related products and services. That length of time involved provides me an advantageous perspective of having seen trends and changes which will apply to Cloud computing just as they did to consumer electronics, PC's and the Internet. I'm a husband, father, and soccer dad with a great wife and kids. I enjoy running, guitar, cross training, fast cars and reading. I'm also happy out on my tractor or working with my hands and back tending to our property. I'm very involved in transportation advocacy in the Baltimore-Washington region, and regard the linkage between economic development, robust transportation and a better quality of life to be of paramount importance. I view transportation, telecommunications and cloud computing technologies to be dramatically similar in the way they serve society and humankind in general.
