I am a Florida gal who currently resides near my immediate family in my beloved hometown of Winter Haven, Florida along with my four legged furry cat child, Baxter. I absolutely love to laugh and share humor with others. I enjoy gathering often with friends as we fellowship around the table filled with food and precious moments in time. I am a sports woman who prefers watching good old American football. ( Go Team!) I've been blessed to travel to many places and take in the beauty there including meeting the most interesting and wonderful people from differing countries, cultures and cuisines world wide. Yes, I am a foodie! I feel that I'm wealthy in so many ways because of the things I've experienced in my life. I have the best friends anyone could ever hope for as God has blessed me with them both here and far away. Aside from my faith in Jesus Christ, it is my friends that keep me grounded. Being a musician, I love listening to all types of music … (sorry but not so much rap) I compose songs with lyrics as well as instrumental music. I enjoy public speaking and I'm happy when those moments open up. I have a ministry called, Matters of the Heart. It is primarily geared toward women, but certainly to other groups as well. I think it is imperative to try and laugh out loud because as the Bible says... laughter does good like medicine. To me, laughter is one of the best and sweetest medicines for our soul. Last, I enjoy writing articles, journaling, or writing letters to others. So, at the encouragement of friends over the course of a few years I've decided to start blogging. In this adventure it is my desire to somehow inspire, encourage, bless, and sometimes challenge both myself and others to a reflection of the soul through meaningful lines from my own heart.
