I am a 69-year-old aspiring author. I started writing late in life, after suffering an Acquired Brain Injury, possibly a boon disguised as a bane. It left me somewhat compromised. I require a cane as a walking aid for mobility, I cannot drive, and have no employment possibilities, without the ability to multitask, or to speak without gaping periods of silence, while my brain searches for the word that I see in my mind's eye but cannot verbalize. It is called mild expressive aphasia. I naturally turned to the keyboard to express myself, reconnect with the world, and hopefully make a difference. To date I have written four books and currently seeking representation for number three and four, my mantra is 'Just Keep Writing!'
