Dr Syed Azhar Rizvi

During his time studying at the Sindh Medical College in Pakistan, Dr. Syed Azhar Rizvi spent time working with the Student Blood Transfusion Unit in Karachi. The purpose of this Blood Transfusion Unit was to supply blood transfusions to the impoverished in the region, through charitable sources. The medical students who operated the unit, did so in their spare time as volunteers. Dr. Rizvi enjoyed his work greatly, and has continued to provide charitable and philanthropic services.
