Married for over twenty years with a teenaged son, Laurie works part-time with the Crossing Guard Dept. of the City of Oshawa. She has been a gardening enthusiast for many years, reading everything that came withing reach on the subject. While she had laudable success with some rather legendary tomatoes and zucchini as a young child, her gardening experience has since consisted largely of planting store bought plants in pretty little plots her husband had dug and forgetting to water them more often than not. They thrived without her. Having been a dabbler for her whole life, Laurie decide to try something new this year, a vegetable garden in the 'Square Foot' style. This is her blog of the experience. It is also an experiment. Posting may not always be consistant but will be at least once per week.
