Captain of an Orion Mining vessel "Iron Maiden" Which my mother purchased after my father's death and found out she was pregnant with me. Mother is retired now, and I follow in her footsteps, During my earlier teen year in an astro field we had split an odd asteroid heavy with rich deposits and embed within the rock was a type of "being" we had no clue what it was, I was closest to it and went to check it closer for a possible school subject, when a flash of light projected over me, and I seemly vanished before the rest of the crew for over a few minutes than reappearing back, for me it seemed like weeks as strange golden like palace with golden like beings each took turns at whispering in my ear and there was line up far beyond I could see and I was agreeing and saying yes as they whispered, but is was like I could not understand them because it was a really faint noise and seemed like this took weeks of time passing for me, for the others back at the crew only a few minutes passed, most were stunned like they could move or speak to one another. After I returned everything went normal like nothing had occurred and the being's remains turned into a faintly white light and vanished like it it was never there. After that nobody really talked about it, Like they were frighten too even to do so. Miner's know these as "old spookies" Most think of them as tales myths and this will be another one, where one is drunk and begins to speak easy. Immediately and the crew stopped right in tracks, than told them there was a pocket of deadly gas. My mother than moved the ship out from harms way, than sent over a cargo droid with a drill, moments later the cargo droid went whipping by us, than the detection of a highly explosive gas as the sensors sent the warning out through out the ships hall, we than had to wait as it vaporized away from the area as it expands. It's a cold pocket that's really hard to detect and will give a false reading a lot of times, it's a blue moon event which you hope only happens once in your life time, if we had hit it we would not be here now! A tale of luck and circumstance. After that the crew was a bit spooked and than superstition starts. One of the crew members Moon was a native type very clever type and a great learner and came from a small village, While mother came over to talk to me He told my mother he had seen this before in his village of the old women who lived outside the village on the hillsides and offered her to take us there, as she knew many things and saved the village many times, Mother said her gut feeling went off and that is when we left, all three us as Moon had not been there for some time but having him there as he could translate as well, when we arrived in the village it seemed like another time period, like a lost tribe of sorts, and the old lady was there as well waving to us. She came and hugged me like she glad to see me than she spoke to me at this time moon said "You are late, I've been waiting for you" which struck me like a brink wall as this what each of golden whispering people said, like I had forgotten it some how, So I asked Moon what am I late for? Than he asked her and she had a big laugh over this, then she told Moon who than started speaking. No No No she replied that is your name from the universe, that is your true name in the universe, It is the name the universe uses to speak to you, than it dawned on me that the universe has a sense of humor and began to laugh, as the whole village joined laughed as well. Moon's real name, is Moon over river. As every there has one of those names, but use a nick of it in general speaking. Than explained things in riddles and told me not too worry when the time comes they will make sense to me, Than said that is all I can you or the balance of the universe will split into two and than had a big smile than all the villagers began squinting at me, when I turn looked at them they immediately looked at there feet, Moon said they fear you, you will bring the universe inside them where they get measured by the universe which could make them sick and crazy and die, the old lady can look through you in an glance and know what you have up too, or tell you a future of things to come. You too have this ability as he looked at his feet when he talking to me. I knew what is was talking about, Than she told the villagers to show me around the village as she need to speak to my mother than went inside one of the houses close to where we had landed as every piled around me pointing to things in the village I needed to see. After some time my mother came back with Moon as he interpreted what the other's were showing us, we stayed for a big meal. Than a cheerful good bye as we left and Moon carrying a big gift basket of food from home, which he marveled over licking his chops. I went to ask mother what she was told and her reply was not now but later. than smiled at me. I knew that smile well!
