I've been a practicing magician for 19 years and have performed around the world. I have written a memoir-based play that has won entry into several venues, including the New York International Fringe Festival and the NYC Ars Nova Theater Festival. I had a short story published in The Chicago Reader as well as the literary magazine Snowbound. I am a contributor to Magic Magazine and have been profiled by Newsday, Lifetime Television, The BBC News, Epoch Times, and The Village Voice providing commentary on magic and the occult. I have won a 2010 Washington Artist Trust Literary Award and am a 2011 Jack Straw Writing Fellow. I have work forthcoming from the literary journal, Crab Creek Review.
