My name is Frances Roxas, a certified Bicolana - born and bred. I have a degree in Journalism but did not pursue a career in writing, choosing government service instead. I liked the security and stability that my job offered. However, I sometimes miss writing. Nowadays, I just write so I can hear myself think. The outside noise can be so loud that I value whatever little peace I could find, and that's usually when I'm writing.
