N8UCN

I'm a Ham Radio Operator, assigned the Amateur Radio Service call sign N8UCN in June of 1992 by the FCC, that still has strong leaning towards the enjoyment of listening to AM Broadcast DXing, Shortwave (Below 30 MHz) both utility and international broadcasting. Interests include Military and Civilian VHF/UHF aircraft activity in near WPAFB and the Tri-State areas of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. I am former president of the Tri-State MONIX (MONItoring eXchange), a regional All Band -no dues-radio club formed in the Cincinnati area in 1983. I'm a former member of the Civil Air Patrol- United States Air Force Auxiliary from (1991-1999), finishing my time as Squadron Communications Officer for 708th Clinton County Composite Squadron in Wilmington, Ohio. I had also volunteered for both ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services) and for but a very brief time a local Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) through the Mound Amateur Radio Association, in Miamisburg, Ohio.
