My background is in zoology, later cell biology. I am now retired from academia but retain a broad interest in science. Other interests include creative conservation, birding, microscopy, Iceland, volcanism. As a lifelong petrol-head and owner of a Triumph TR6 since 1978 this blog is dedicated to supercharging TR engines. My particular efforts to overcome the fuel penalty of the blown engine at cruise will be described in a series of posts, from fundamental design principles, through construction, to testing.
