Piera Weiss spent a number of years as a landscape architect and planner with the Montgomery County Planning Department of The Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission. Other interests include landscape history and teaching; she served as secretary for The Cultural Landscape Foundation and continues to contribute her expertise in landscape history projects.
