I'm a full-time music student, working and studying in Mareel - a music venue, cinema and educational facility on Lerwick's waterfront in Shetland, Scotland. I have played guitar for 12 years and counting. I have gone from being a self-taught musician, to receiving group and one on one lessons, before providing lessons myself. Currently, I am studying on the HNC music course at Mareel, Shetland's new state of the art music facility. We are currently studying: Instrument and Digital recording, live performance, appreciation of musical genres, an introduction to the music industry, songwriting and creative project. In my spare time, I am involved with a few local artists playing a variety of music, ranging from folk to progressive metal.
