Stephen Schmalhofer

Prior to joining MasterStreet, Stephen was an Assistant Vice President at Swiss Re Capital Markets with their catastrophe bonds team. Prior to Swiss Re, he worked at Odyssey Re, a subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings. He received his B.A. from Yale University, where he was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society. He was also a four-year defensive lineman, helping Yale win the 2006 Ivy League Football Championship. Stephen lives in New York City with his wife, Helena, and their daughter.
