In no particular order I am a politics-obsessed wonk, a writer, an editor, a mother, and sometime academic. I stand for freedom of religion, freedom from hate, self-acceptance, tolerance and diversity. I support same-sex marriage, the right to abortion, asylum for refugees, free education, political participation and dissent. I do not support bigotry, asshattery of any description, stalking, harassment, lies and hate. I stand for tearing through political and religious rhetoric and getting to the bare bones. I welcome intelligent discussion and champion dissent. But freedom of speech does not equal licence to lie, hate, and destroy others.
